Nancy Barisoa Andriamiarimbola is a dedicated young leader and changemaker from Madagascar with a Master’s Degree of Computer Science in Software Engineering. She has a strong commitment to fostering positive change and uplifting her community. Published by several newspapers in Madagascar, Nancy received the prestigious Team Leader Award from HUAWEI's Seeds For The Future program. Her team's innovative project utilizing artificial intelligence to combat poverty earned them the Best Tech4Good Project award, in the same class as Zimbabwe and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Additionally, Nancy had the distinct honor of representing Madagascar as the sole Delegate at the esteemed 2023 International Youth Forum organized by UNESCO in China.

Nancy is the visionary founder and CEO of The Tanora Revolution Podcast dedicated to empowering the next generation of youth across Africa and beyond as «Tanora» means «youth» in Malagasy language. Her podcast focuses on fostering a positive mindset, a healthy lifestyle, a compassionate heart, and a resilient soul. Nancy is also the National Representative and Trainer for African Voice in Madagascar and trained young people in debate and public speaking, emphasizing the importance of youth voices in addressing critical issues. Additionally, as a Regional Ambassador for Samsung's Tunza Eco Generation, Nancy has raised awareness about Madagascar's environmental challenges and fostered connections with global youth leaders to drive positive change by writing several articles.

Nancy serves as the Regional Coordinator for Youth Opportunities and oversees Ambassadors from various African countries. Her role revolves around ensuring the successful completion of the Youth Opportunities Global Ambassador program, which provides young people with opportunities for personal and professional growth. As a founding member from 23 regions of Madagscar at the National Youth Alliance for Biodiversity, Desertification, and Climate bootcamp, she was contributing to the creation of the Alliance AIKA - Youth For Earth. In 2021, she was the National President of Mamelona Association and oversaw the association's activities nationwide, arranging skill development sessions for young women in Madagascar, assisting marginalized communities, and initiating a tree-planting drive for environmental sustainability. Additionally, during the aftermath of Cyclone Batsirai, her team provided essential support by distributing food, offering cooking assistance, and extending a helping hand, ultimately bringing smiles to those affected by the disaster.

Nancy, who has been representing African Voice in Madagascar since October 2022, serves as the primary point of contact for Malagasy individuals interested in participating in the organization's programs and events. Over the past year, Nancy has demonstrated her commitment to empowering young people by training forty individuals in debate and public speaking and coached more than thirty youth to unlock their opportunities. Notably, under her leadership, the team achieved a remarkable third-place victory in the African Debate Championship. Nancy firmly believes that youth voices are invaluable, especially in a world where the issues affecting young people often go unnoticed, and providing them with opportunities to speak is of utmost importance.
